We offer a series of on-line or digital learning for schools. Through the provision of Microsoft Teams, children are able to participate in a virtual interactive experience.

- Four aspects of life during World War 2 are covered: Evacuation; Food and Shopping in WW2; Women at War; The Blitz. The workshop includes drama, seeing a wealth of artefacts and watching archive film. We film inside the Anderson Shelter, too, so that the children can really imagine what an air raid was like.
- 2 Hours (Course runs from 9.30AM until 10.30AM, followed by a 30 minute break, then runs from 11AM to 12PM.

- This 1-hour session invites the children to ask questions that have arisen during their own research. Teachers submit questions in advance and then, through the use of Microsoft Teams, children engage with the museum’s Education Officer. The children enjoy ownership of their own learning and seeing a wealth of artefacts at close quarters.
- 2 Hours (Course runs from 9.30AM until 10.30AM, followed by a 30 minute break, then runs from 11AM to 12PM.
Children can select WW1 or WW2. Please indicate when booking.

- Schools can hire our WW2 video based on A Child’s War.
- This covers all the topics we teach in our workshop: Evacuation; Food and Shopping during WW2; Women at War; The Blitz. The video comprises 4 topic sections, which can be viewed individually. In addition to a presentation by the Senior Education Officer, there are archive film clips. The total running time is around two and a half hours.
